Publically claiming the impressions that come to your mind as revelation could potentially be taking the Lord's name in vain. Taking the name of the Lord in vain has been misunderstood. It is not swearing by saying the G** or L*** words, but rather it is when one claims to speak for the Lord when they do not. Attributing something to God without His authority or authorization is the definition of taking the Lord’s name in vain. In addition, whenever someone proclaims their own agenda in the name of the Lord they are taking His name in vain.
That was my FIRST impression (Idea) too, LOL. No Claim of direct revelation, for the record. I read about the re-branding, and realized the process described by Denver about becoming more like other religions continues to accelerate. I found this old post that seems appropriate from 2010.

Claims closer to direct revelation are starting to show up.
DeleteElder Neil L. Andersen of the church’s Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, who is accompanying President Nelson on the three-day trip, said the First Presidency and quorum members are unified on the subject.
“The president has spoken, the Lord has spoken to the president,” he said, “and this is going to be an extended, multi-year effort — but this will not be something that will be attempted and then pulled back from.”
